Whale Watching
From September through to December the Southern Wright whales and the Humpback whales migrate down the coast on their way back down to Antarctic waters. There are around 14000-16000 whales that migrate the West Australian coastline every year. They call Perth waters home for a few months every year to rest and recuperate from the migration down the coast from the northern waters around Exmouth and Broome.
"The Southern Image" will depart on Wednedays, Fridays and Saturdays at 9am for a 3 hour whale watch and also 1.00pm if required.

"The Southern Image" is Perths only charter boat offering safe loading for passengers, stair and gangway access for wheel chairs.
You will enjoy having "The Southern Image's" padded seating, deck heater warming you as you sip on a coffee and possiblily a slice of cake or 2 as well as the crew providing information on the whales as you cruise out to the ocean highway. The Southern Image Limits numbers to 30 people so no one will be crowded at the rails trying to get a look in.
Over the last 4 years we have had a 100% success rate and will give you a free whale watching charter should no whales be found!
This whale watching season is off to a great start with multiple groups of Humpback whales being found between Hilllarys and Rottnest Island. Some of the whales have been engaging in people watching as they swim up to the boat to have a closer look!
